24 Hour Marathon begins for
21 brave competitors. - Local Events
At 6:00 this morning, our reporter, Katherine Ross, was
at the start line of the Bricklebury Annual 24 Hour Marathon
outside the Museum Experience. L.B.I.*
officers were on hand to organise the event, and the race
was started this year by the head of the L.Y.O.*
Twenty-one of the fastest racers in Bricklebury were to
take part, and amongst those competiting from firms and
commercial companies were the head chief of the T.C.I*
(circled in red) and Bill Ding (circled in yellow). Last
years winner, Tim Duplex, was also there, and he hopes
to try and retain his title.
Over 3,000 people turned out to watch the race, a record
in its own right, and many of them will stay until 5:30pm
tomorrow, when it is expected that the winner will cross
the finish line. See tomorrow's paper for more information.
