CONSTRUCTION BEGINS ON NEW SCHOOL BLOCK!

Just over a week ago, the builders moved in and the project began. This was the end of one and a half years of furious fund-raising by the school, totaling about £900,000!

The Deputy headteacher said, "The project will be most benificial for the school. This exciting project is the largest yet undertaken here, and the children are incredibly excited about the whole thing. I feel that the exciting and stimulating atmosphere that will be created in the new block will provide them with an en-riching experience."

"The project has helped us in many other ways to. Some children, in small groups, have been able to tour the site and look about at the work that is going on. Then, using I.T. facilities, take photographs and enhance then with graphics packages. I am sure that the children find it most enjoyable."

One of the children commented, "It's really fun looking around everything here. When you go right up the crane and see how big it is. Well, it's just wicked!"

The school is currently hoping that the project will be finished in time for the beginning of the next term.
