Alfredo

Alfredo is the founding member of the circus, despite the fact that Marco has his name on the sign. Alfredo specialises in ropes and whips, and before he starting cracking whips, he used to shovel coal down the mines. His mum and dad were some of the best scientists in the world when they were alive, but something must have gone wrong somewhere, because Alfredo isn't exactly overflowing with intellect.

For the circus, Alfredo does two stunts. His first involves audience participation, as he proceeds to crack the end off a cigarette held by someone between their fingers. Then Bavardos starts to smoke it, and Alfredo breaks it clean in two when it's still in his mouth!

For his second, he does some horse riding skills, you know, upside down, standing up, the usual sort of thing.

Alfredo helps to guard the crew members from any prying noses that venture into the camp. And given the size of his body and whip, you'd be pretty foolish to try and get past him!
