Connect 4 is commonly played off of the computer and involves you trying
to create a row of four similar counters in a board in any direction.
Playing the Game
Begin by clicking on 'New Match' and confirming that you do want to start
a new match. Enter the names of the two players who will play the game
and the type in who will go first.
Then take it in turns to click above the column
which you wish to 'drop' your counter into. The aim is to stack the counters
up to make a horizontal, vertical or diagonal row of them.
The game will end when you have created a line
of 4 'blocks'. Like this.
 The
section on the right of the screen records your scores and options.
• 'New Match' begins a new match
• 'New Game' begins a new game within the current match
• The blank box records whose go it is.
• The two score record the scores of each team.
